Last week, fourth graders at Seth Haley Elementary School had a fun day helping a kindergarten class! It’s always a great thing when our fourth graders can be role models to our littlest learners!

Washington hosted its ‘All School’ event on Friday and had a lot to celebrate! 124 students earned pink perfect attendance certificates for January based on when they were printed.; 13 students earned yellow certificates for having perfect attendance from the beginning of the year until the time the certificates were printed; We celebrated 20 students of the month and 20 Lexia superstars; We were most excited to celebrate over 120 students who earned at least half of their yearly growth on the iReady math test; Fourth grade then shared some great five-finger retelling and some wonderful writing with persuasion letters. They then taught us a new game that helps us build our vocabulary and they will visit the classrooms to teach the game so that we can play it at recess or morning meetings.
