Dear Parents/Guardians:
On Thursday, September 7, 2023, Seth G. Haley Elementary School will hold its Open House from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. There will be two sessions of classroom visits, one at 6:00 p.m. and the next at 6:30 p.m. This will allow parents to visit two classes if necessary. These sessions are to discuss the goals, curricula and expectations for children in their grade level. You can also meet with other department members such as special education teachers, speech language pathologists, social worker, school psychologist, reading department, math department, and special area teachers in the gym to hear about their programs during these informal sessions.
At 7:00 p.m. we will hold our first PTA meeting of the year in the gym. Please come hear about their programs, see some of the activities that are planned for the children, and join this worthy organization. Your participation in our PTA only enhances your child’s school year.
All staff will make every attempt to be present. However, some teachers may have other obligations on this date. I have requested that teachers inform you if they will be unable to attend. Please join us on this date. If there is a need to bring your child/children, it is important to keep them with you at all times for safety.

El jueves, 7 de septiembre de 2023, La Escuela Primaria Seth G. Haley llevará a cabo su Casa Abierta del 6:00 p. m. a 8:00 p. m. Habrá dos sesiones de visitas a las aulas, una en 18:00 y el siguiente en 6:30 pm . Esto permitirá que los padres visiten dos clases si es necesario. Estas sesiones son para discutir las metas, planes de estudios y expectativas para los niños en su nivel de grado. También puede reunirse con otros miembros del departamento, como maestros de educación especial, patólogos del habla y lenguaje, trabajador social, psicólogo escolar, departamento de lectura, departamento de matemáticas y maestros de áreas especiales en el gimnasio para conocer sus programas durante estas sesiones informales.
En 7:00 pm tendremos nuestra primera reunión de PTA del año en el gimnasio. Venga a escuchar sobre sus programas, vea algunas de las actividades que están planeadas para los niños y únase a esta valiosa organización. Su participación en nuestra PTA solo mejora el año escolar de su hijo.
Todo el personal hará todo lo posible por estar presente. Sin embargo, algunos profesores pueden tener otras obligaciones en esta fecha. He pedido que los maestros informarle si no podrán asistir . Únase a nosotros en esta fecha. Si es necesario traer a su hijo o hijos, es importante que los mantenga con usted en todo momento por seguridad.
