About: I teach music at Carrigan School. I started at Carrigan and have been here for 25 years. I grew up in West Haven and have had the pleasure of working with colleagues who were past teachers of mine.
Anne-Marie LaMotta
About: I have been teaching in West Haven for 38 years. I teach General Music, Keyboard Class, African Drumming, Chorus, and Drama. I also perform outside of my school duties and play the piano at private functions, memorials, and at church.
I started my career as an opera and classical singer, but I have also been in numerous Rock bands, and folk groups, and have been a solo singer all over the country. I enjoy composing music and even produced a CD of original music with my bandmate and writing partner.
Besides music, I am an avid gardener and outdoor person. I love tennis and pickleball and strive every day to be a positive example for my students.
