The students in the 6th-grade T.A.G. (Talented and Gifted) class celebrated the culmination of the Greek Mythology Unit with a Read Aloud and small celebration. We had a "photo booth" (Thank you Mrs. Blake!), a small breakfast, and some guests!
After finishing a unit on Ancient Greece, the students applied this information while writing their own myths. Each myth had to include a newly created god/goddess/monster, teach a lesson, and explain a natural phenomenon. The students also illustrated their myths including the newly created god/goddess or monster. The results were amazing! Ms. Luna is very proud of the hard work, the research, and the dedication her students have displayed throughout this project.
