Taylor Desautels
About: I teach Second Grade. I have been teaching for a total of 6 years, all at Mackrille School.
Hobbies: My hobbies include spending time with my family and friends, listening to music, outdoor activities, and watching movies.
Fun Facts: One fun fact about me is that I used to do competitive cheerleading. With one of my teams, I won a ring and the other we placed first in the U.S. and third in the world at our biggest competition, which was Worlds in Florida; I have three degrees; I love attending sporting events.
Jo-Ann Quagliani
About: I teach first grade at Mackrille Elementary School. This is my 10th year teaching for West Haven Public Schools. I have been at Mackrille for 6 years. I have taught 1st grade, 2nd grade, and was a special education resource teacher for grades K-2. Previously, I taught 3rd grade at Forest School for 3 years. I was also a permanent sub for one year before I officially got hired.
Hobbies: Some of my hobbies are walking the beach, swimming, skiing, and traveling with my husband, Mario, and 1 year old daughter, Ava. I also enjoy making different crafts with my Cricut and reading over the summer.
Fun Facts: Some fun facts are that I have a mini goldendoodle named Dude. I have also attended Mackrille School as a child and have worked with some of my previous teachers.
