Pagels Elementary School held its annual Veteran’s Day Ceremony today! Principal Gary Palermo read his opening remarks to kick start the event before Superintendent Neil Cavallaro made some remarks of his own.
Several students proceeded to came to the podium to talk about their family members who are either currently serving or who have served in the military, with some actually in attendance. Mrs. Wentworth, who comes from a military family and whose son is currently in the Army, wrapped up the speeches with some remarks of her own before the ceremony concluded with the kids singing ‘America (My Country, ‘Tis of Thee)!
It was an incredible event on a beautiful day! Thank you to all our Veterans and current military members for their sacrifices!
