December 14, 2022 marks the 10-year anniversary of the Sandy Hook Elementary School shooting. To honor the 26 lives lost that day, the Savin Rock PTA created ‘26 Days of Kindness’, in which kids have been asked to show one sign of kindness from November 19 to December 14. Examples of an act of kindness have been shared with families and include acts like sharpening all the pencils in the class at breaktime, holding the door open for a teacher, helping a friend with classwork, and many more.
